Neck and neck fight in Delhi

BJP and Congress were leading in three and two constituencies in Delhi after first hour of counting.

BJP and Congress were leading in three and two seats respectively out of seven Lok Sabha constituencies in Delhi after first hour of counting.

BJP candidate and Union Minister Vijay Goel was leading in Delhi Sadar constituency. He is pitted against former Union Minister and Congress candidate Jagdish Tytler.

Congress' Sandeep Dikshit, son of Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, was leading over BJP's member of dissolved Lok Sabha Lal Bihari Tiwari in East Delhi constituency.

BJP had bagged all seven seats in the last 1999 Lok Sabha elections.

BJP candidate and Labour Minister Sahib Singh Verma was leading in Outer Delhi over Congress' Sajjan Kumar, while Kapil Sibal of Congress was leading over TV star and BJP candidate Smriti Irani in Chandni Chowk.

Tourism Minister Jagmohan was leading over Delhi Speaker Ajay Maken in New Delhi.
