Four more persons died of severe cold in Nepal's southern Siraha district on Saturday, taking the total number of people killed by the chilly weather in the Himalayan nation to 22.

While 10 people died in Rautahat, six died in Siraha, four in Bara and two in Dhanusha districts.
One of those killed due to the severe cold in Bara district has been identified as Chanchal Chamar of India, according to the Kantipur daily.
The extreme cold weather has forced over a 100 primary schools to shut down in Rautahat district.
Domestic and international flights coming into Kathmandu have also been disrupted due to heavy fog in the Kathmandu valley.
