New daily trains announced in the budget

The Railway Minister also announced extension of 37 trains, besides increasing frequency of 12 trains.

7. Mathura-Alwar Passenger,

8. Gudur-Tirupati Passenger,

9. Hajipur-Sonpur-Chhapra-Siwan-Thawe Passenger,

10. Mailani-Palia Kalan Passenger (MG),

11. Jallandhar City-Nakodar DMU,

12. Nanded-Adilabad Passenger (after gauge conversion),

13. Madurai-Rameshwaram Passenger (after gauge Conversion),

14. Kumarhat-Agartala (after commissioning of new metre Gauge line).

Other new trains introduced included Asansol-Bokaro

(MEMU), Bankura-Ranchi passenger via Purulia and

Ajmer-Udaipur City Express (after gauge conversion).
