New daily trains announced in the budget

The Railway Minister also announced extension of 37 trains, besides increasing frequency of 12 trains.

2. Link Express between Darbhanga and Guwahati with 5609/5610 Avadh-Assam Express,

3. Chennai-Tiruvanthapuram Express,

4. Nagpur-Raipur Intercity Express,

5. Indore-Bhopal Intercity Express,

6. Radhikapur-Sealdah Link Express with 3453/3454 Gour Express,

7. Mathura-Alwar Passenger,

8. Gudur-Tirupati Passenger,

9. Hajipur-Sonpur-Chhapra-Siwan-Thawe Passenger,

10. Mailani-Palia Kalan Passenger (MG),

11. Jallandhar City-Nakodar DMU,

12. Nanded-Adilabad Passenger (after gauge conversion),

13. Madurai-Rameshwaram Passenger (after gauge Conversion),

14. Kumarhat-Agartala (after commissioning of new metre Gauge line).

Other new trains introduced included Asansol-Bokaro

(MEMU), Bankura-Ranchi passenger via Purulia and

Ajmer-Udaipur City Express (after gauge conversion).
