The condition of the nine children, who were shifted on Wednesday night from a hospital in suburban Ulhasnagar, is reported to be stable, they said.
At least 60 children were hospitalised in the Central Hospital in Ulhasnagar due to poisoning from the chemicals used in Holi colours.
The children complained of nausea and giddiness, irritation in eyes and itching.
Police are trying to locate the shops that sold these colours.
