Nipuna clinches Euro 7 mn deal

Satyam's BPO subsidiary, signed a deal along with 4K Animation GmbH for various animation projects.

Satyam's BPO subsidiary, Nipuna Services Limited, signed a deal along with 4K Animation GmbH, a German Animation company, for various animation projects.

The deal is worth Euro 7 million (equivalent to $8 million) for animation. This is one of the largest deals won by an Indian BPO company in the Animation space, Nipuna Services Ltd CEO Venkatesh Roddam told reporters on Tuesday.

Nipuna will work jointly with 4K Animation on projects for a Hollywood film including an international action, adventure and fantasy motion picture directed by Paul Nicholas 3D Animation for a TV Production and commercials, Roddam said adding that the 4K Animation global team with professionals from seven nationalities would be working along with Nipuna team on the same projects.

Nipuna will deliver these projects from its delivery centers in Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangalore in next 10-12 months.
