Produced by Sahara One Motion Pictures, Dor is about le, loss, friendship, hope and redemption.

"Salim-Suleiman and I were looking to break the rules, to make songs that stood out from the clutter and something that was different from the item numbers or the boring love ballads.

"This is the result of our effort and the reactions here up till now are very encouraging. Expectations now seem to rise even higher and I just hope that things continue to be this colourful and bright even after the film opens to the viewers this September," said Kukunoor, at the launch function on Friday.

Shantonu Aditya, chief executive officer Sahara One Media and Entertainment Ltd, unveiled the film's music in the presence of Kukunoor, composer Salim-Suleiman, actors Gul Panag and Shreyas Talpade at a south Mumbai club.

Universal Music Group has distributed the music.

Kukunoor's Iqbal was a masterpiece and with Dor he explores a new subject. Cinema critics feel that the director will succeed in reaching out to audience's sentiments once again.
