For the third time on India's tour of Pakistan, play was halted for a brief while when a missile was thrown at Ajit Agarkar midway through the Pakistan innings during the second one-dayeron Saturday.

The small object was thrown from the jam-packed crowd when the Indian seamer was fielding on the third man fence.

What was surprising was the fact that the incident happened despite the presence of an overwhelming number of security personnel inside the Pindi Stadium.

Agarakar brought it to the attention of the two umpires, leading to a brief stoppage of play. Play commenced soon after and the rest of the innings went off peacefully.

Similar incidents had happened during the third Test at Karachi, Tendulkar being the victim, and in the Peshawar ODI when Pathan was hit by a metallic object.
