There?s good news for all the art loves. A few of the city?s prominent artists have got together to display their art works. But what?s special about their work? Well, all of them will display portrait paitings. So, there are going to be ?Faces? all around in the Rashtriya Lalit Kala Kendra gallery.

Well, all of them will display portrait paitings. So, there are going to be ‘Faces’ all around in the Rashtriya Lalit Kala Kendra gallery.
Sharad Pandey, GP Verma, Rajiv Tewari, Rajendra Karan, Vinod K Singh, Dinesh Verma, Mohit Srivastava, Nawal Kishore, Umendra P Singh, K Raju Ranjan, Rita Maurya, Vinod Vishwakarma, Amit Kumar, Phaneendra Nath Chaturvedi, Sunil K Singh Kushwaha and Upasana Bajpai have all used diverse techniques to make their portrait paintings. Along with them a few senior artists will also display their portrait paintings.
Rajiv Tewari a painter said, “Our aim was to bring to the forefront some good works of artists from Lucknow. And portraits are anyway the most real form of artwork. All of us have gone ahead to bring some real life figure on our canvasses.”
A number of artists prepared their artwork only after the theme was decided upon, while others had some portraits ready. There are going to be a total of about 45 works, three from each artist.
The exhibition will inaugurate on October 6 at 12 noon by Padamshree Dr Gopal Das Neeraj. The exhibition will remain open from October 7-12 from 11am-7pm daily.
