One killed, 10 injured in road mishap in Amreli

One person was killed and 10 others injured after collision between a state transport bus and a tractor near Gokharwada village some six kilometers from Amreli on Monday, police said.

One person was killed and 10 others injured after collision between a state transport bus and a tractor near Gokharwada village some six kilometers from Amreli on Monday, police said.

The incident occurred when a state trantsport bus, going towards Rajkot from Savarkundla, collided head-on with a tractor coming from the opposite direction, killing one person on the spot and injuring 10 others, they said.

Police said that those injured have been shifted to Amreli civil hospital. The dead has been identified as Rajdeep Chavda (32), they added.

A case has been registered and further investigation is on, police said.
