One killed, 20 injured in an accident

One person was killed and 20 others were injured when a mini bus skidded off the road and fell into a 150-feet deep gorge at Dalwas-Chanderkote, 146 kms from Jammu, today.

One person was killed and 20 others were injured when a mini bus skidded off the road and fell into a 150-feet deep gorge at Dalwas-Chanderkote, 146 kms from Jammu, on Thursday.

The bus, which was on way from Jammu to Srinagar, plunged into the gorge around 0400 hours, police said, adding the vehicle was over-speeding.

The injured have been rushed to a nearby district hospital.
