A Delhi court on Wednesday reserved its order on anticipatory bail pleas of Shardaben Katara, wife of BJP MP Babubhai Katara who is facing probe in a human trafficking case, and their son.

Additional Sessions Judge VK Bansal, after hearing the arguments advanced by Sharaden and son Bhaveshbhai Katara's counsel reserved its order on their bail application.

Opposing their plea the Public Prosecutor said, "We have not even issued the notices against them (Kataras) seeking their co-operation in the ongoing probe in the case."

Kataras' counsel Ajay Chopra said that the role of applicants in the alleged offence is nothing and there are reasonable apprehensions that they may be arrested just because of their relation with the accused.

On being asked about the complicity of Katara's relatives in the offence, the police said that they, after coming to know about the incident in Delhi had hurriedly withdrew around Rs 7 lakh from their bank accounts which raises the suspicion.

Delhi High Court had on Tuesday declined to grant anticipatory bail to Shardaben and asked her to approach the trial court.

Katara was arrested at the international airport in New Delhi on April 18 when he tried to take one Paramjeet and a boy to Toronto allegedly using his wife and son's diplomatic passports.
