The group of players that include the likes of Sharad Kamal and Shubhojeet Saha among others, are on a strict training regimen of eight hours divided into two sessions. Under the watchful eyes of chief coach, Bhawani Mukherji, and foreign coach, Massimo Constantini, the squad is looking upbeat and ready for the challenge. “It would not be an easy tournament. Singapore, especially their women’s team, is playing exceptionally well. However, our players will give their best shot and I am confident of a favourable result,” said Mukherji.

The foreign teams will reach the Capital next week.
