A Chinese delegation is expected to visit Pakistan later this month to hold talks on enhancing cooperation in the field of nuclear energy.
During the visit of the high-level Chinese delegation, the Pak-China Joint Working Group would be launched.
The dialogue would cover increasing cooperation in the field of nuclear energy, involvement of China in construction of Diamer-Basha dam planned to be built in Pakistan's Northern Areas and construction of an oil pipeline from Saudi Arabia to China via Pakistan, the report said.
Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf has already approached China to build a 600 MW nuclear power project, as the United States has refused to extend the US-India civilian nuclear deal to Pakistan.
China, which has built a 325 MW power project at Chasma in Punjab and is currently building another one with the same capacity in the same place, has capacity to build projects upto 600 MW.
