Talking to reporters here, Chaudhry was quoted by the Daily Times as saying that General Musharraf's claim of promoting self-governance in PoK was hollow and lacked credibility.

He alleged that ballot papers were distributed in Muslim Conference (MC)-dominated constituencies without the signatures of presiding officers.

Some 16,000 ballot papers were distributed among MC supporters at the residence of Sardar Atiq, he alleged.
