RELIGIOUS leaders will do ?Parikrama? of the Ram Janmabhoomi site in Ayodhya on December 4. Dwarikapeeth Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopanand will lead the procession. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Ram Janmabhoomi Punruddhar Samiti here on Monday evening.
RELIGIOUS leaders will do ‘Parikrama’ of the Ram Janmabhoomi site in Ayodhya on December 4. Dwarikapeeth Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopanand will lead the procession.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the Ram Janmabhoomi Punruddhar Samiti here on Monday evening.
A large number of sadhus participated in the meeting and entrusted Swami Swaroopanand with the responsibility of finding a solution to the vexed Ayodhya issue.
The sadhus of Kashi and Ayodhya said Swami Swaroopanand could resolve the issue, while maintaining social harmony and brotherhood.
Jabalpur-based spiritual leader Ramkumar Tripathi predicted the time till the year 2007 was ripe for liberation of the Ram Janmabhoomi under the leadership of Swaroopanand.
Addressing sadhus, Swami Swaroopanand said, “We are demanding Ram Janmabhoomi because it is the land of Lord Ram.”
Religious preacher Sunita and Sant Bhavnath of Ayodhya said devotees had great faith in Swami Swaroopanand.
Other religious leaders who also spoke on the occasion included Swami Dharm Das, Swami Satyendra Das, Ram Prakash Mishra, Dr Laxman Das, Janardan Das, Premshankar Das, Sant Ramdas, Shankar Deo, Chaitanya Brahmachari, Ram Krishna Das, Gaurishankar Das, Ram Prasad Mishra and Shiv Shankar Vajpayee among others.
