The National Investigative Agency, Jharkhand and Bihar police are trying to decode the messages written on the calendar.

“Investigation teams are going through all the documents seized from his residence very closely,” said SN Pradhan, additional director general of police (ADGP) and Jharkhand Police spokesperson.

He added that the names of a few weapons are written over it and a few dates have been marked.

“It is too early to comment,” said BN Singh, inspector and officer-in-charge of Dhurwa police station.

A senior police officer wishing anonymity said the calendar was the blueprint for the serial blast, as October 26 and October 27 have been marked boldly.

The police recovered several letters mentioning delivery of several CDs and other objects along billing details from the suspect’s residence. Some of the recovered letters date back to 2009.

The agencies are also scrutinising several numbers stored in three SIM cards and mobile phone seized from Imtiaz’s residence and from his possession at the time of his arrest in Patna.

On late Tuesday evening, Jharkhand Bihar police teams visited Sitiyo village and questioned family members of the four suspects. Various other locations in the capital were raided for clues.
