The Pakistan board has permitted Razzaq to fly to England in the middle of the Test series against Bangladesh.
"He had requested that since he is not in the test team he should be allowed to play three matches for Middlesex," PCB chief executive Rameez Raja told Reuters.
Razzaq had returned to Pakistan earlier this month to attend the Pakistan training camp in a bid to win a place in the test squad.
But the selectors did not consider him for the 15-man squad for the first Test against Bangladesh.
"He has also indicated that he might not be available for the one-day series against Bangladesh," said Raja. "But that is not confirmed and he has been told to return as soon as his assignment ends with Middlesex.'
