The residents can call at phone number 2640645 or on Dr VK Mishra’s cell number 9335132322 and give information about diarrhoea, malaria, vomiting, jaundice and gastroenteritis cases in their areas.
In an official communiqué released on Wednesday, Dr Singh also directed the private nursing home and hospitals to regularly provide information of diarrhoea and gastroenteritis patients to the district epidemic cell.
He said the Allahabad Medical Association president and secretary and Nagar Swasthya Adhikari were expected to ensure that all the private nursing home and hospitals have separate diarrhoea wards.
“In rural areas, the residents can inform the epidemic cell at CHCs and PHCs for effective control on the water borne diseases,” he added.
Patients suffering from arthritis, spondilitis, back pain and sciatica would be treated by naturopathy and yoga at the health awareness camp being organised at Sangam Holistic Health Center & Research Foundation, Lukerganj between June 2 to 4. Dr MK Madnani MD (medicine), Dr Nitin Sharma (naturopath) and Purnima Mishra (dietician) would be available for treatment at the camp.
