PM security breach: All three arrested

The three, who had illegally driven into the PM's residence on Thursday, were chased and then detained overnight.

Three people, who had on Thursday breached security at the Prime Minister's residence by illegally driving into the premises, have been arrested.

The three - two women and a man - drove past the residence's outer gate on Thursday night, but were turned away after stopping just inside and asking to see Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

They left the residence, but were detained by the security forces a few minutes later.

The three were held overnight, after news channels broadcast the incident as a major security lapse.
