PM to seek Brazilian cure for Indian footballing ailment

When Prime Minister Manmohan Singh holds talks with Brazilian President Lula Da Silva next week, one of the main issues of discussion will be seeking two-time world champion Brazil's help in making Indian football team a better one.
Cooperation in football training by Brazil, three-time world champion, will be "one of the important issues" which will come up during the talks between Singh and Brazilian President Lula Da Silva in Brasilia, Foreign Secretary Shyam Saran told reporters here.
He said a recommendation in this regard had been put forth by Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Priyaranjan Dasmunisi who is also President of All India Football Federation.
Saran said this while briefing the media on the upcoming two-nation nine-day visit of the Prime Minister to Brazil and Cuba.
