Union minister of state Sachin Pilot and UP Congress president Rita Bahuguna Joshi met injured farmers at Kailash Hospital. Leaders of other political parties, too, rushed to ground zero.

"It is cowardice to fire at innocent farmers holding a peaceful demonstration. There is anarchy in the state. The administration has gone unbridled. I have demanded action against the guilty," said Joshi.

BJP state vice-president Virender Sirohi along with other workers assembled at Pari Chowk on Tuesday and went to the hospital and Bhatta Parsaul and extended support to the farmers.
