In the betting market, those candidates who carry low price tags have the maximum chances of winning while candidates who are most unlikely to win have high rates.

The BJP official candidate from Jhunjhunu Sumitra Singh experienced a major fluctuation of rates. When the BJP district president Rajendra Sharma, after being denied the ticket, declared to contest the elections on Samajik Nyay Manch ticket, the rates of Singh shot up to Rs 3 from Rs 1.90. And when Sharma, returned to the party, the rate downslided to Rs 2.

That incident also had a fall out on the chances of the Congress candidate Brijendra Ola. The rates on Ola went up to 45 paise from 25 paise. Ola had been considered as a victorious candidate till Sharmareturned to BJP.
