Official sources said in Guwahati on Monday that the prime minister will arrive at Mohanbari Airport near Dibrugarh from Kolkata where he will stay overnight on his way back from Philippines after attending the fifth India-ASEAN summit.

During his four-hour visit to the state, Singh will go to some of the violence-affected areas in the two districts and address the press at the Mohanbari airport before leaving for New Delhi.

The two districts of Tinsukia and Dibrugarh had witnessed the killings of nearly 70 migrant people, mostly brick kiln workers and milkmen.
