Prince Charles to visit India this month

During the two-week schedule, the couple will focus on promoting better understanding between faiths.

Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles are to undertake an official tour to India, Egypt and Saudi Arabia this month, said an announcement from Clarence House - the official residence of the prince.

During the two-week schedule, the couple will concentrate on promoting better understanding and tolerance between faiths, sustainable agriculture and training and employment opportunities for young people.

The prince has visited all three countries before, but it will be only the second official overseas tour for Parker.

The first was last November when she accompanied the prince to New York, Washington and San Francisco.
