Acting on a tip-off that money was being distributed for luring voters at the shop owned by the MLA, police on Tuesday night raided the place and seized cash and other documents including 72 receipts of transactions, the sources said.

The receipts of transactions amounting to Rs ten lakhs and the chits allegedly written in Ingle's handwriting were also found, they said.

One person has been taken into custody in this regard, they added.

Ingle is seeking re-election from Jalambh constituency in Buldana district of Maharshtra.
