A team of Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) of Mumbai police, with the help of local police, has raided the houses of three suspected Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists who were arrested near Aurangabad on the charge of possessing arms and explosives.
In the raids conducted on Saturday, the search party seized some CDs, diaries containing telephone numbers and photographs that could help the probe in the arms seizure case, police sources said.
The suspected LeT operatives -- Amer Shakeel Ahmed Sheikh (30), Sayyad Zuber Sayyad Anwar (26) and Mohammed Muzaffar Mohammed Tanvir (24) -- all residents of Aurangabad, were arrested on Tuesday on the charge of possessing arms and explosives that included 10 AK-47 assault rifles, 2000 live cartridges, 40 magazines, and 30 kgs of RDX.
The trio have been remanded in ATS custody by a Mumbai court till May 24.
