This is the first meeting between the two after Raja quit as Telecom Minister in the face of allegations about his involvement in the 2G spectrum scam. Late last night, Raja had put up a brave front in the aftermath of the CBI raids at his New Delhi residence and those of his close aides in Tamil Nadu, saying that these were mere "scrutiny" and no one was above scrutiny. He had said that he would cooperate with the investigating agency and "comply with it".
