Congress retained power for 55 years but failed to make the country strong and put pressure on Pakistan and China allegedly involved in aiding terrorist activities, Singh told an election meeting at Satpur near here organised by party candidate Rahul Aher on Sunday.
He also accused Congress of pampering Ottavio Quattrocchi, the Italian businessman and main accused in multi-crore Bofors scam of 80s.
He also accused Congress-NCP led Democratic Front government in the state responsible for price hike of essential commodities and corruption.
He said that Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar's policy was anti-farmer which led to more farmer suicides in the state.
