Rajnath Singh to visit Rohtak to attend wedding reception

Bharatiya Janata Party national president Rajnath Singh is scheduled to visit the town to attend the wedding reception of member of legislative assembly (MLA) Naresh Malik's son at Kochar Farm House in Kharawar village on National Highway-10 on Sunday.

A party spokesperson said Singh's helicopter would land at Baba Mastnath University on Delhi Road at 12.45pm.

Experts see the efforts of Malik, MLA from Hasangarh (before delimitation) assembly constituency from 2005 to 2009, as an attempt to seek party ticket from Rohtak parliamentary constituency by showing his support in the form of mass congregation at the reception. Malik has been touring the parliamentary constituency for more than a month, and has been inviting villagers to attend the reception party.

He also enjoys popularity in this area due to his generous donations to cowsheds and other social activities.
