Rathore awarded Kala Samman

ARTIST RAJENDRA Rathore from Indore won the state level ?Kala Samman? from Madhya Pradesh Kala Parishad in a grand ceremony held in Kalidas Academy auditorium in Ujjain recently.

ARTIST RAJENDRA Rathore from Indore won the state level ‘Kala Samman’ from Madhya Pradesh Kala Parishad in a grand ceremony held in Kalidas Academy auditorium in Ujjain recently.

Rathore was awarded with shawl, coconut, certificate and cash prize of Rs 10000. An exhibition of his paintings and works of different artists is also being held on the occasion. Tomorrow is the last day of this exhibition. It would remain open from 2.00-8.00 pm in the auditorium.

Ustad Allauddin Sangeet evam Kala Akademi directors Dr Arun Palnitkar and Dr Kamlesh Dutt Tripathi and artists Dr R C Bhavsar and Dr S K Joshi were present on this occasion.
