Senior BJP leader and former Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on Thursday had a narrow escape after his plane developed a technical snag and one of its tyres burst during an emergency landing at the airport in Jabalpur, official sources said.

No injuries were reported and the passengers of the 10-seater plane alighted safely, District Collector Sanjay Dubey said.
The plane, carrying Prasad and former Madhya Pradesh Advocate General Vivek Tankha, developed some technical snag, following which the pilot sought an emergency landing, sources said, adding that one of the tyres of the aircraft burst during landing.
