A stylish right-handed opener, Ravindu Shah, has been leading the Kenyan batting order ever since his debut against Bangladesh in 1998.

A stylish right-handed opener, Ravindu Shah, has been leading the Kenyan batting order ever since his debut against Bangladesh in 1998. He scored a debut half-century and has not looked back since then.

Shah's highest score of 71 was against Zimbabwe in 1999. The 32-year-old enjoyed a very good World Cup last year, with a 46 against England and a 50 against South Africa, the career highlights of this Kenyan top order batsman.

He has crossed the 1000 run landmark in a span of under 50 matches which goes onto prove his importance in the Kenyan side.
