A four-day film festival of Satyajit Ray's films began with his famous movie Goopi Gayan Baga Bain.

A four-day film festival of Satyajit Ray's films began with his famous movie
Goopi Gayan Baga Bain
in Jamshedpur.
Organised by Celluloid Chapter, the morning session of the festival screened for school children preceded by an interactive session.
Over 50 students took part in the session. Kapurush-o-Mahapurush, was the inaugural film in the evening session organised for adults.
Apart from the two, the festival would also screen Devi, Mahanagar, Kanchan Jungha during the festival, which is being organised to pay tribute to Ray on his birth anniversary today.
An exhibition on the life and works of Ray was also organised on the occasion.
