Renovated park inaugurated

THE RENOVATED circular park that has a statue of Lal Bahadur Shashtri was inaugurated by district magistrate Amrit Abhijat here on Saturday. The park is located at the in the centre at the Medical College Crossing.

Managing director of Recron Synthetics Ltd MP Garg garlanded the statue.

The park has got a new lease of life ever since Recron came forward to take charge of the park for its maintenance and renovation.

The contract will last for a year after which it could be extended further, said a Recron official Sandeep Pandey.

During this period, a representative of the company will look after this park and its maintenance.

Speaking on the occasion, the district magistrate said that besides adding beautifying the park, the company would also help maintain the ecological
balance.
