Addressing a press conference, Jamuna Devi cited excerpts from the RSS website which discussed the genesis of the BJP and political functions it has to serve for its parent organisation – RSS. This makes it clear that the BJP was a political wing of the RSS and the latter was involved in political activities through the former, she said.

Jamuna Devi, in another letter to the Governor, said RSS was trying to spread 'cultural terrorism' among constitutional bodies and employees through BJP governments.

Stating that the RSS was a communal outfit with a 'fascist' mode of functioning, she said the Indian Republic was secular and democratic country and if RSS was allowed to 'politicise' government employees, the Constitution would be jeopardised.

She said every terrorist outfit spreads its tentacles exploiting patriotic sentiments of people. Terrorists in Kashmir also claim to be 'patriotic' but they cannot be respected for this reason, she pointed out.
