Santosh Bhartiya, Editor of Chauthi Duniya and a former MP who met Singh in New Delhi, quoted him as saying that he was perturbed over reports about his alleged role in facilitating Anderson's exit from Bhopal in a state government plane three days after India's worst industrial disaster and that he had done his job in the best manner under the circumstances.

Singh said he would speak on the matter at an appropriate time, Bhartiya said.
