Revised timings for booking Tatkal tickets effective from June 15

Under the revised schedule, the booking of Tatkal tickets for air-conditioned (AC) coaches will start at 10am and for the non-AC coaches at 11am, the railway ministry said in a statement.

Railway authorities on Friday said the timings for booking tickets under the Tatkal scheme have been revised effective June 15 onwards.

As of now, bookings under Tatkal scheme for all types of coaches open at 10am on the previous day of journey from the train originating tation.

All types of ticketing agents like YTSK, RTSAs, IRCTC agents and others will be debarred from booking tickets during the first thirty minutes of opening of booking timings.

The booking counters open at 8am. for general bookings.
