Rick's, The Taj Mahal Hotel
The Taj Mahal Hotel, Mansingh Road
Home Delivery: No.

Parking On Weekdays/Weekends: Easy. The valet service isn't efficient, so you may have to wait for some time for your car to be brought to the porch.
It had indisputably the best drinks menu (it's still known for its Guava Berry and Espresso martinis, Long Island Iced Tea and Kir Royale) till Agni came on the scene. And its old regulars, the who's who of the city, have shifted their loyalties to other watering holes. The bar has tried to stage a comeback with its '101 Martinis' promotion - if you like a Choco Truffle Martini or a Crème Brulee Martini, you may still have time to get one, for the activity is scheduled to get over in July, but it's the first of many similar events planned through the year. The prices will pinch, but the management is deliberately keeping them that way because it doesn't want low-spending youngsters to take over the bar. But the food - essentially South-East Asian - will make you want to come back (our favourites are the Cheese Chilli Melt, Pepper Chicken, Salmon Laksa, Prawn Rendang and Pan-Fried Flat Rice Noodles with Roast Duck in Hoisin Sauce), and so will Rohan Bhardwaj's music on Thursdays and Saturdays.
