RIL offers jobs to 58 IAS-BHU students
RELIANCE INDUSTRIES Limited (RIL) has offered jobs to 58 students of Institute of Agricultural Sciences (IAS) at Banaras Hindu University (BHU).
RELIANCE INDUSTRIES Limited (RIL) has offered jobs to 58 students of Institute of Agricultural Sciences (IAS) at Banaras Hindu University (BHU).
Placement incharge of IAS-BHU Prof AP Singh said the officials of RIL conducted a two-day campus interview of students and recruited 58 students in various capacities in the company on April 22 and 23 of this month.
He said that this is the first time that such a big private sector company has offered so many jobs to students in a single campus interview. Selection of so many students had boosted the morale of other students, he said.
Prof Singh said several companies such as Advanta Limited, Canara Bank, Dhanuka Agro Chemicals, Caspro Micro Credit and ITC etc., would conduct campus interviews after May 5 this year. He said several other companies such as Mahaco Seeds Limited, Capart, Indo Gulf Fertilizers etc., have already conducted campus interviews at IAS-BHU this year.
Meanwhile, India’s largest third party offshore Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) IT enabled service provider, Wipro BPO would conduct campus interviews at University Employment Information and Guidance Bureau in BHU on May 2.
Chief of Bureau, Prof VK Kumra said the company would conduct campus interviews for the post of Process Associates in customer contact centre.
He said those interested in Wipro BPO should contact and submit the bio-data at the Bureau by April 29.
