The RIL official, vice-president (finance) KV Mohanan, will be quizzed again on Thursday. Mohanan was questioned for over 10 hours at the agency’s headquarters, a source said, adding that in the course of his examination, he was grilled in the presence of Gandhi as the agency suspected them of being linked. A Mumbai-based law firm’s managing partner who was summoned for questioning on Wednesday did not turn up but is expected on Thursday, said the source.

The agency has alleged that both men were in touch with Gandhi who was arrested in Mumbai for buying classified documents from four government officials.

An RIL spokesperson had earlier said, “A notice to witness has been served on one of our officers. The company will be able to decide a course of action after his interaction with the authorities.”
