"Where the land lies in another world,
Unkempt and untouched.
Where time abides in another girl

These lines seemed to be the underlying message behind Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna’s Spring-Summer '07 line.

A pristine white set-up with porcelain tea cups, white roses and Dutch dolls in the background, the show emphasised the virginal innocence of a girl.

Feminine to the core, the designer duo’s line screamed of happy, carefree childhood days. The collection consisted of shirt dresses, balloon knee-length skirts, blouson tops, doll dresses, boleros, shrugs and belted tops. Emphasis of the line was definitely on the dresses which formed major part of the collection. Colour palette was restricted to white, beige, porcelain blue and grey.

Use of sheer fabrics like chiffon and silk made the separates look girlish yet chic. Though the silhouettes had a western feel to it, they were simple with intricate detailing and hand embroidery.

Use of minimal make-up on models also supported the idea of purity and innocence.

Something for men too!
Men don’t get disappointed. The designer-duo had in store some really classy embroidered jackets and shirts in navy blue and ivory white for guys.

Can you wear this line?
Definitely, the clothes were stylish, chic and perfect for as evening-wear. In fact, you can grab the designer duo's line for anything between Rs 1000 to Rs 10000.

Our take
The designer duo had beautifully brought out the feminine innocence through his clothes. Unlike last time where Rahul-Rohit’s collection had loads of swarovski and embellishments, this time they preferred to keep it simple. Bingo to that!
