Rumours rife over Madhya Pradesh governor's resignation

The NDA government at the Centre headed by PM Narendra Modi has ensured that certain governors appointed during the UPA regime including Mizoram governor Dr Kamla Beniwal step down from their posts.

Words did the rounds in political circles on Monday that governor Ram Naresh Yadav resigned from his post. However, Raj Bhavan media cell denied having any such information.

Senior Supreme Court lawyer Vivek Tankha posted on his Twitter page, "MP Governor resigns. Is it because of involvement in Vyapam scam. Which signals more heads to roll. High time it happened. Cry for Justice."
