The trial degenerated into a chaotic shouting match after the chief judge ejected for the second time since early on April one of Saddam's female lawyers, triggering an outcry from Saddam and other lawyers.
The court heard from three defence witnesses including Sabawi Ibrahim al-Hassan al-Tikriti, one of Saddam's half-brothers.
