Sadhvi, Purohit sent to judicial custody

The special MCOCA court on Monday remanded ten accused, including Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur and Lt Col Prasad Purohit, in the September 29 Malegaon blast case to judicial custody till January 6.

The court transferred the custody of Samir Kulkarni, an accused in the case and one of the co-founders of right-wing group Abhinav Bharat, to the Madhya Pradesh police.

The Jabalpur police has sought Kulkarni's custody in connection for instigating riots in churches there.
