Sagar skipper Rameez Khan won the toss and elected to bat. The Sagar batsmen showed good patience during the first session and took the score to 98/2 at the stroke of lunch.

However, after lunch, they started losing wickets at regular intervals as Indore spinners tied their run flow.

Manoj Singh batted patiently and completed his half-century. He was dismissed for 58 runs with eight hits to the fence.

On the other end, captain Rameez Khan too showed his patience and was hitting the loose balls. He was unlucky to miss half-century and was back to dressing room after scoring 48 runs with seven hits to the boundary.

Rahul Garg took charge and started scoring freely to accelerate the t eam’s run rate. He belted 31 in just 30 balls with three boundaries and two huge sixes.

Abhishek Tiwari was unbeaten on 30 at the end of day’s play with four boundaries and one huge six. The other not out batsman was Pankaj Rao. Sagar finished the day at 264/9.

Indore skipper Himalay Sagar depended more on Amay Pankhe. But Sachin bowled brilliantly and controlled the run flow. He was also very economical. In his spell of 16 overs, he conceded just 34 runs and took two wickets.
