Lady Gaga’s trip to India just got more interesting. As the Bad romance… singer gets ready to arrive in the country this October, Salman Khan’s niece Alizeh — Alvira and Atul Agnihotri’s younger daughter — has made a big request to her uncle: host a party for Lady Gaga and if possible, be her bodyguard too.

Apparently, all the children in the Khan household, especially 14-year-old Alizeh, are fans of the pop star. Since Salman is known to go out of his way for his family’s happiness, everyone is pretty convinced that he will make it happen. When contacted, Alizeh’s father and Salman’s brother-in-law laughed. “Yes, she is really hoping to meet Lady Gaga. That’s why she is pushing all possible ideas including requesting Salman. Knowing him, I’m sure he’ll try his best,” says Atul, who is the co-producer on the actor’s next, Bodyguard.

Considering the Dabangg actor has arranged for quite a few big-ticket meetings in the past, Alizeh’s wish just might come true. “Arpita (Salman’s sister) wanted to meet Michael Jackson (when he came to Mumbai). And he arranged for it. Will Smith came to his Bandra home. So, he can really pull it off,” says Atul, adding that his daughter’s guest list will be a big one. “She is excited because she can call all her friends. For this generation, Lady Gaga is a phenomenon.”

Lady Gaga had told HT that she would be performing in India as part of her tour during an interview. She had said, “I have wanted to come to India for long. I am coming to perform in India this October and next year too. India is a beautiful country and a lot of my philosophies about art are mirrored in the Hindu religion.”

But a few days ago, actor-TV show host Simi Garewal, who shot for an episode with Lady Gaga, contended that she is “coming to India in October, not for a concert as she has to shoot for her new video, but a promotional tour.”
