“We are considering to contest Lok Sabha polls in alliance with Congress and NCP to keep BJP and Shiv Sena out of power. For this plan to succeed, they should give us at least three Lok Sabha seats,” State Samajwadi Party chief and MP Abu Asim Azmi has said.

Addressing a public meeting in Nashik on Thursday night, Azmi criticised the Centre for continuing its ban on SIMI and said there was no proof against the outfit about involvement in terror activities.

“Why there is no ban on Abhinav Bharat (allegedly involved in Malegaon blast,” he asked.
