Sanjay called to TADA court to record statement

Judge PD Kode has asked Dutt to remain present in the court on Thursday to record statement so as to decide the quantum of his punishment, reports Mustafa Plumber.

Sanjay Dutt has been asked to remain present before the TADA court on Thursday to record his statement in order to decide the quantum of punishment.

Dutt has been held guilty under the Arms Act, but acquitted under the TADA (P) Act for his role in the 1993 bomb blasts case.

Judge Pramod Kode convicted the actor under sections 3 and 7 and section 25 (1)(A) and 1-B of the Arms Act.

The punishment under these sections ranges from five to 10 years.
