Dutt and other accused are facing charges under the Terrorist And Disruptive Activities (Tada) Act for their alleged involvement in the Mumbai blasts case.

Dutt is also facing charges for allegedly possessing an AK-56 rifle around that time.

Extradited gangster Abu Salem, in his recent testimony, had alleged that he himself had delivered the weapon to the actor at his Bandra residence.

The crime branch CID sleuths, who were initially probing the case, had allegedly recovered a spring of the weapon at the instance of Dutt.

According to the prosecution, the weapon was melted by a co-accused in the case. The actor, however, denied the charges.

Besides Dutt, there are 30 others including members of the Memon family, who were the alleged master-minds behind the blasts, will also be produced before the court. All of them are currently languishing at Arthur road jail.
