Planet Satyam, an initiative by the Satyam Learning World, was set up over a year ago to reach out to Satyamites via live interactive webcasts on the company’s learning initiatives. But now the platform is being used to reassure employees. Recorded videos are being relayed 14 hours everyday as against 45 minutes earlier.

On Tuesday, videos of board members addressing the employees were uploaded on Satyam’s website as well as on popular video sharing site YouTube.

"There is a huge liquidity crunch in the company and till the accounts are restated, it is very difficult for banks to lend money. But we have made arrangements and I hope the money comes in the next few days, so that, payments are made on time," said board member Deepak Parekh. “I would request Satyamites to have patience, have faith in God. We are trying our very best to see all of you happy.”

Other webcasts include those on the topics such as how to deal with stress.
